Does eye position determine maxilla placement?

As someone who is recessed, I feel my eyes are too far forward in their sockets. @Progress explained that when the maxilla comes upwards upward, eyes would theoretically fit more "into" the face.

This causes me to wonder if people with deep set eyes and lots of space between the brow and the upper lid have more forward growth.

However I also considered that this guy doesn't strike me as very forward grown and he has deep set eyes

Some people also say brow prominence makes eyes deep set. However Ann Counter has no brow bone and still has deep set eyes. She also is older which would mean her maxilla would be more recessed anyway.

What factors go into eyes being deep set? It can't be maxilla angle or placement. It isn't brow prominence either since it can be found in women and women tend to have weaker brows and almost no brow prominence just like Ann above.

Michael has the kind of / -shaped face that retractive headgear achieves. I am victim to the same procedure. It is basically the opposite of Mewing. It can allow individual features develop decent (my eyes are often complimented too), but they don't really come together as a cohesive face, from which comes his trademark confused look. Maxilla influences eye placement, but it's not everything that does. A lot of it is simply born with.

Ann Coulter has decent cheek development, but her palate seems narrow:

Narrow palate causes cheekbones be positioned lower than they ideally would, resulting in that unfavourable kind of "sunken eye" look. There's a distinct difference in between eyes sitting snugly in their sockets and the sockets themselves being wide/loose.

Do you have pics of healthy deep set eyes vs eye sockets that are too big that create a sunken look?
