Does mewing do anything to the lips?

I haven't noticed anything in the before and after pics about the lip shape, maybe it's because I didn't notice it or doesn't happen. Mike Mew talked about lips atrophying, so I was wondering does mewing change the lip area?

Yes my dood, when the maxilla comes forwards (if yours is back) it makes the lips look fuller

Ah ha of course, thanks fellow trusted member. But do you think it does that because the maxilla rotates and along with it the skin attached to it by hypodermis (the tissue that connects bone to skin)? And do lips atrophy?

Mine may have gotten smaller in girth or just wider. Not sure which

Yes. This is part of the same tall face campaign my face has been running the past year. My philtrum has been all over the place too. Shortening to lengthening with my lips becoming wide and thin or pouty and duckfaced

Did your philtrum shorten or heighten? Did it widen or shorten?

It has done all of the above. It's like my face is figuring out how to position itself
