So my problem is pretty straight forward
I lost a side tooth around about 4-5 years ago now and failed to replace it. As a result of this the following video will explain what happened:
Basically what happens when you are unable to chew on a side, your lower cheekbone shrinks and air-pockets form around your sinus. Now before I can have a tooth implant I must have a sinus lift and that I have already done so, 2 months back. The regrowth of the bone takes 6 months however and I am seeing it gradually grow back.
However the problem is, in the process of having been without my lower cheekbone, the eye I have on that side has 'tilted' slightly and now a negative canthal tilt is very vividly appearing. The reason for this is because I had lost a lot of my under eye support. I know that is typically the orbital rim, but beneath the orbital is the lower cheekbone and I am pretty sure that it's had a knock-on effect in causing my eye shape to tilt inside it's socket.
My question is will the eye shape become restored once I have grown bone back and then additionally had the implanted tooth put in? And if not will I require a canthoplasty surgery? To think that this could all occur from just not replacing a tooth. It's mad. Insane I tell you. It's a dagger because I had been told for many years from various sources that my eyes were my best feature. I am sure that is no-longer the case however.
Also to be clear: This has 100% happened and it was not negatively tilted beforehand. I am VERY sure of this.
Thank you in advance for your feedback
