Also here is a video of the DNA appliance that my dentist uses for sleep apnea, and was hesitant to recommend but I think I’ll book an appointment and insist more:

Yo! This appliance is called FAGGA (Fixed Anterior Growth Guidance Appliance). There was a thread about this a few weeks ago.

I got to see some more pictures from another doctor. And it can truly help in correcting asymmetry. It really does follow John Mews theory about asymmetry being caused by a lack of forward growth.

I enjoyed looking through the images in the link you posted, but I've always been skeptical of claims that these kinds of changes in facial form are induced by epigenetic changes to DNA resulting in heritable alterations to gene expression (i.e. more or less of the proteins coded for by those genes being produced). I think my cranial form failed to reach its genetic potential because I practiced poor oral posture, not because of activation or repression of certain genes through methylation or histone modifications, for example. I guess it doesn't really matter if their explanation is a gimmick if the results are real, but I'd like to hear more details about this epigenetic mechanism, if anyone understands their rationale.
I know this is not the correct place, but how do you make a forum post?
Hi! You just head to the main forum part at the top of the page before this - but they all get approved because it’s a moderates forum :) keeps bad stuff out of the community!
I get this too, or maybe there’s a slight mix? But the results from the NDA appliance seem like maybe the lost widespread and less invasive option for anyone in the US not near an actual Orthotropic professional
