Hi everyone, I've made a video analysing the effectiveness of FAGGA.

 

In short, the verdict is that it does potentially cause downwards growth as well due to the orientation of the maxilla.

I feel that his ideas added to our discussion about AGGA. In some ways, his analysis is consistent with what Dr. Mike Mew said in his TGW Q&A video #2 "The problem is, if your jaws have downswung and collapsed, trying to extend them in this direction here is not really the answer." I was relatively satisfied with the responses to this argument from SUGR1, Abdulrahman and others that the AGGA doesn't actually cause face lengthening in practice even in those with a downward pitched maxilla. However, I still suspect that the preexisting structure would have some impact on what kind of growth/remodeling is possible. That being said, I don't believe Facehacking's proposed alternative device would have any chance of working based on my own experience with a removable acrylic expander. Turning expansion screws in the directions he proposes would just make the device impossible to fit in the roof of the mouth and it would cause side effects like dental tipping because of the reciprocal forces. In the youtube comments, he says that Dr. Mew had the same assessment of the concept design and that's why he's moved on to his "blackpill" videos:

no, he thought that the structure and form of the device is unfeasible to construct, i.e from an engineering standpoint, it wouldn't work. yes, he does devote to children, but the problem is that maxilla directly affects relationships. i.e the current Incel movement is simply a result of mouth-breathing men with incorrect tongue posture, having recessed jawlines and maxillas, suffering. Therefore, a solution for adults must be created. For example, I will make a video further down the road addressing that many school shooters often have long recessed jawlines and maxillas, because of that women reject them. Of course, not all, but it is a trend. I am going to argue that literally the problem of men being single and rejected by women is absolutely a matter of jawline and maxilla. and men that are super attractive, again, literally a matter of jawline and maxilla. This also means that men with recessed jawlines are basically permanently doomed until they change their bone structure. Once this idea or concept goes mainstream in society, then things should change quite a bit. So, we can change childrens' maxilla and jawline from young with good habits, but there are many adults out there who are suffering due to recessed jawlines and maxillas (i.e potential school shooters, incels) and hence it's important a device is made for adults. If not they are just going to suffer for life. if the device is made, we are hypothetically able to make anyone 'hot' or attractive over a year.

well, Mike Mew is an orthodontist, so I can understand him not to dabble in human behavior and psychology/sociology. He doesn't understand that maxilla affects human behavior. Simple things like mouth breathing > downward growth > self-esteem and rejection issues > unhappiness. So my channel is to link maxilla to human behavior and make it mainstream. But with his ideas of maxilla, jawline, facial growth and tongue posture, he has really stumbled upon a goldmine of potential. The problem as I mentioned is that there is no current link to mate choice, relationships and sex, so nothing much can happen. alot of suffering and society could be improved if we just gave everyone a good jawline and maxilla... there is literally no drawback to this, so why not? that's kind of the idea behind my channel. with regards to feasibility, I don't. It's not rocket science, physically it's worth a try. Once I link jawline and maxilla to women, someone will find a way to make the device, somehow or another.
