After about 3 months I have been able to correctly assume proper tongue posture on the roof of my mouth. However, when I do so I feel my facial muscles, especially the zygomaticus and buccinator, contract. I seem to be unable to relax these muscles without impacting my near-perfect tongue posture. I have a naturally roundish face with full cheeks and I'm afraid this will make this worse. Any mental cues or tricks that may be able to help me?
