Hi so I recently realized that when mewing I angled my tongue in a way that applied pressure to the back root of my incisors, after I realized that my tip of tongue should only be pushing on the incisive papilla I realized that’s the reason why my teeth where getting screwed up. My left incisor protrudes past the right one while the right one hangs lower than the left. I know this happened since when I look at my retainer these changes weren’t visible.
Now my question is will correcting my tongue posture alone be enough to overtime revert these changes I made. Would applying more lip pressure to my teeth be of any help to push the tooth back to its position? Or would I have to get further orthodontic work as I’ve already screwed up my teeth?
My retainer is also unwearable due to the palate expansion I still got from my slightly incorrect mewing
bump
The lips will eventually revert to the position if you don't put tongue pressure against it. And when your face will have an upswing, it will probably move all the front teeth too.
A good lip seal Is very important, in particular if you are hard mewing. I usually keep a neutral smile when i am particularly into it.

I'm also seeing a side effect. My molars on each side seem to be getting a bit more crooked and misaligned. Probably because of uneven and non-uniform tongue pressure
