I have had Invisalign in the past and have been given a clear retainer after i had finished. I have had this retainer and was told to wear it every night for the past 3 years approximately. My issue now is that I have been mewing for a few months now, but in order to see results I would assume I would need to ditch the retainer to allow my maxilla/mandible/palate to expand or come forward. However, I am now risking my teeth spreading apart and potentially getting gaps in between my teeth again. Was looking on some opinions or suggestions on what I should do.
You are right, it works against mewing.

fixed are pretty good i have them and i managed to get some expansion
