Hello everyone,
I've been researching mewing for a year now, i've been doing it wrong for a long time, not engaging the back third of my tongue.
Now I'm starting to dive deep into mewing stuff, and I'm just so lost, I don't want to do more harm than good.
I have a pretty decent jawline, but a narrow palate I think (crooked front teeth) if I measured it right my IMW is around 35mm,
Now I don't know what to do, I don't know if my tongue is properly engaged, I don't know if I need to expand my palate first,
When I try to mew it's generating a lot of tension in my face and forehead. I have a VERY long and forward neck posture, I'm trying to do chin tucks, also I heard about tongue chewing, I don't know if I should chew gum or whatever ...
I wanna keep up with mewing, but it's so damn complicated
Does anyone have the kindness to help me ?
Tongue ballooning. Spread your tongue in all directions as if it was being blown up like a balloon
@eddiemoney quick question, should I expand the tongue in all directions except upwards while maintaining suction hold (so I don't push up)? or should I push with the same force in all directions. Im wondering if i should focus of the forward direction as that should be causing forward growth.
All directions, left, right, up, down, forward, back.
Do you know if you have a tongue tie? That will prevent you from getting there. I had to have mine lasered, which was painless and instantly improved my head posture.
