I started mewing on and off from about a year ago with decent results but I have noticed that I am struggling to breathe through my nose now although before I started mewing i was able to breathe through my nose perfectly fine. This is really beginning to affect my life because im pretty much struggling to breathe for the whole day other than when i exercise. I feel that this is because I was applying a strong upwards force but barely any sideways force so my upper palate has risen instead of widening and is beginning to obstruct my nasal cavity. But when i hold my tongue in place via the suction hold, it only applies an upwards force on my upper palate and barely any sideways force. The same goes for when i swallow. Am I doing something wrong?
