Hello I'm 18 years old and I've recently found out about mewing and have learned about how chewing can give that wider face look. But I have a misaligned molar tooth on my mandible on my left side, it's leaning inwards. And I think I have had this all my life. When I chew some really hard food like crunchy foods my molar teeth gets kind of really sensitive making me chew less on that side. This might be the reason why I'm not making much progress and a underdeveloped jaw on my left side. I don't know what I should do with this, if I should get some orthodontic treatment or just mew and chew hoping that it realigns eventually.

Keep doing what you are doing. Keep mewing and being mindful of correct tongue posture. It is where it is for a reason. Even with ortho, it will revert if you do not correct the underlying chewing/swallowing pattern.
