Lately I’ve had time to experiment with my tongue posture while laying down.

I’ve been trying to remember “lips together, teeth together, tongue at the roof of your mouth.” The problem is, when I swallow, with aim to push my tongue against the back of my palate, and close my lips it becomes near impossible and air enters my mouth.

i can do it with my mouth open but I feel I am training bad posture and not getting the full effects.

With my mouth closed, the farthest back I can reach is the very middle of my palate but that’s pretty rare.

what do you suggest, and have you experienced this and pushed past it?

ive been doing this on and off for a year, but honestly the off times have taken me back to the beginning.
