Osteopathy & maxilla movement

Hi all,

Can cranial osteopathy assist in moving the maxilla forward, even slightly? 

And for anyone who has used MARPE/MSE or SARPE, did your maxilla come forward as a result of the expansion?

Typically for kids... palatal expansion (which causes a disarticulation of the jaw).. will allow it to move more naturally where it wants (forward is how it usually goes along the maxillary plane).  See more of my thoughts on paragraph 6 of /community/community/case-discussions/interesting-3d-maxilla-expansion-by-sarme-hyrax-expandercda-appliancebraces-young-adult/#post-13205

Thanks, @darkindigo! That's what I'm hoping for as I don't think my orthodontist will give me a facemask.

@varbrah had MSE and reported gaining few mm of forward movement in his maxilla.
