People with proper lip seal - do they have some facial muscles involved?

So I noticed that when I try to do the lip seal 'technique' recommended by Mew ('slight negative suction' as he put it) I inevitably activate some of the same muscles responsible for smiling. As a result of this my undereye area lifts up slightly, which is also what happens during the smiling process but to a much greater extent. As we all know a good undereye support is a big sign of good craniofacial development, so I just wanted to ask if there is some link there. I thought about the uneducated possibility that people with bad lip seal have lips that don't put any work into keeping the teeth straight, so all of these muscles I mentioned above remaine inactive and dormant, which in turn lead to a worse undereye support.

Lip seal should be the result of an intra-oral vacuum created by tongue & throat musculature. You should be using the posterior tongue to suction/pull your lips and cheeks against the dental arches. In this position your teeth will be glued together, and trying to separate them without breaking the suction should be very difficult.

It creates a vacuum this way. I'm not sure if bad lip seal is the leading cause of bad eye support though, I think that's just recession. I have noticed that my eye support has improved though, but I think that may just be the muscles involved as you said.

edit: I said that you're supposed to force suction your lips against teeth, which you shouldn't do as it can mess up the mentalis muscle. Lifting your posterior third should be the way to get the teeth suctioned against your lips.
