Is anyone with a poorly developed face (small jaw, narrow face) actually confident, outgoing and dominant with their personality as a kid? Doesn’t seem like it.

If your naturally dominant as a kid you will stand up straight with your neck extended head back which automatically puts your tongue in a perfect position.
Mike mew also talks about how foot stance influences facial growth.

So if you have small jaw, narrow palate you were probably a pussy from the age of 2 - 16.
Feel free to prove me wrong with your own personal experiences

Correlation doesn't imply causation.

@chiefkeefsosa but there is a correlation between them (personality and posture) which may be the part of the cause. No switched on confident kid is gonna walk around with his mouth open unless he has a blocked nose. Mike mew also believes people’s personality is written on their face

people with well devoleped faces are confident because of their face structure not the other way around

ugly people suffer from being self-conscious so have personalities that aren't so confident so they don't stand out as much

good looking + confident = confident

bad looking + confident = cocky

Posture and the strength of one's personality are both influenced by the same factors, which could be grouped together under a label such as metabolic vigor. Someone with a healthy nervous tone and seamless energy production would stand up straight without having to even think about it, and their cognitive faculties would be strong enough for them to easily lead the group in social situations. I don't know if personality alone influences facial growth, but facial growth can certainly influence personality through social feedback: those with bad development are more likely to be taken less seriously than those with good development.

However, clearly what ever kind of influence we are talking about here can be overcome. In my previous work place there was this 5'5 man with the face of a severe mouthbreather, who was so funny and interesting that in the breakroom he would always dominate the conversation, and people would gather around him just to be part of it.

CFD and especially TMJD is intimately related with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome.

Bad posture=poor breathing.

Under oxygenation and chronic fatigue syndrom are also intimately related with TMJD/CFD/Body posture.

I'd say in order of causality(my opinion only): CFD -» postural deficiencies/muscle strains -» poor breathing -» brain fog/under oxygenation/chronic fatigue

So i agree there is a relationship between CFD and "personality". But ultimately you're always going to be what you fight for in life. If you're sitting on your ass the whole day "procrastinating about", you're certainly not going to develop social skills, which is an actual skill you have to train. So don't intimately tie these together.

If you have CFD and arent too self-conscious about how you look you're probably going to mouth breathe and it wont affect your personality as much.

If you have CFD and you're an introvert/self conscious you're probably going to nose breathe. Speaking from my own experience, nose breathing when you have a "bad" CFD case can cause under oxygenation, anxiety etc..

So yeah. stretch, run, breathe and be outside of your head

claimingpower.com had an article somewhat relating to this; it may have been behind a paywall, since I can't find it now. It showed photos of a soccer player and G Dragon (a kpop guy) before and after they were famous for the sake of comparing the attractiveness in their aura to see if the knowing-ness of their fame/adoration made any difference in their appearance. The difference looked pretty noticeable. There was also a before/after picture from some guy who apparently told himself how attractive he was repeatedly for a year or two and his appearance (apparently) changed somewhat dramatically. I've been doing that for a while and feel a lot better, though it'll take a lot more time to fully assess the benefits. Regardless, it goes without saying that stomping one's foot down and adamantly declaring yourself to be ugly and worthless is never going to accomplish anything positive.

There are so many conditions that seem to be linked to CFD. I cant imagine this is coincidence we tend to all have problems in common. I wonder if some of you have looked for psychological origins such as attachment disorder which is a trouble linked to caregivers being Unable to secure the child, résulting in growth déficiencies .

@bakwan I've been looking into that kind of stuff as a whole, not necessarily just for CFD. I guess epigenetics might be what you would call the field; stuff like your thoughts turn into chemicals that affect your body in various ways. Like how someone preoccupied with fearful thoughts may suffer from chronic nausea because you're constantly (needlessly) creating the fight or flight response which sends blood away from your organs to your arms and legs to run away. It's an interesting theory if it's possible that telling yourself that you're ugly could mess with your appearance, somehow, though even if your physical appearance is decent, you can only experience your own perception of ugliness anyways.

Some of the people that lecture on this stuff also talk about reality being a projection of your brain, as to suggest there is no internal/external division and whatever you program into your brain as real/true is what you'll encounter "outside" - it's best to not accept everything people say without direct experience, but if you find it interesting or care to indulge in it, I find it to be a much better explanation/theory than the crystal-clutching law of attraction woo woo crap old women are obsessed with.

@progress yes I agree 100% I’ve seen people with terribly grown faces who have learnt to be popular and I lot of the time they become funny as that helps them become likeable.

And there mightn’t be a massive correlation between personality and facial growth but I definitely think it effects it somewhat
