Hello everyone, first post here.

I am currently starting mewing properly again. I have couple of questions based on personal requirements for every person. Personally, I've been trying to push the back side of my tounge more but I already have a higher back palate and it curves more downwards the closer I get the teeth. In this case, I am planning to push that curvature area behind and a little up from the teeth to push the front teeth more forward instead of up, because I already have a small smile(opposite of gummy smile) and I personally need my teeth more forward and downwards more, not the other way around. I am worried if I push the maxilla even higher, my teeth would be even less visible. Do you guys think everyone should mew according to their weaknesses? Not everyone has the same misalignments so it could be better to suit to our own needs. Also mewing feels more natural when I dont try to force the back side. Just to clarify, I am not talking about just pushing with the tip of the tounge but more like the front and middle together on top of the curved part of the palate. If I push too back, my eyebrows raise, while pushing more forwards relax that area for a more hunter eyed look.

Also, some tips: Posture is extremely important, keep your head back and neck straight, stretching helps a lot to ease tensions, eat good, low carbs and workout, mind for food sensitivities as they can bloat you up. Also most importantly, listen to your body and dont push unnatural feelings. Whatever looks and feels good (with minor discomfort if your body has to adapt) is more likely correct. This should feel natural, not a hardwork as long as your posture is proper.
