I know the Mew’s recommend a suction hold, but is it just the front or the back that has suction? When I suction the posterior third to my soft palette, I am worried my soft palette is coming down to meet my tongue. Will this cause a problem? I can tell you that it causes my sinuses to empty which is probably good since I have allergies.

Hi,

You should not actively suck the tongue. Suction Hold Is a passive tecnique.

You have to be able to make contact on the back palate with the more surface as possible of the tongue in order to simulate a suction cup. Stop

If you suck the tongue in this condition letting It slide along the palate, It should detach with a pop at the end. An effect similar to the whip
