Surgical procedures can be are used to move bones forwards (advance them). But, while this reduces the mandible plane angle does it really correct the vertical growth, I mean that being said forwards growth regardless of the height is always welcome. So, could this also mean that through nonsurgical treatment "upwards" growth in the sense of shortening should also not be the goal, instad focusing on forwards and outwards growth only?
Can't they shave part of the lower maxilla and rotate up in certain surgeries, along with the mandable being rotated up. Super expensive usually unless it's what your surgeon decides is medically necessary and it's covered by insurance.
They can move forwards and shave "excess downwards growth" of maxilla and move it upwards. that's a bimax with ccw rotation.
