hello im 16 years of age and have braces
a couple of months ago i came across a thing called mewing i tried it and had immediate results within the first month
now fastworward a month later i had to get a fixed bonded retainer and a bracket behind my right under molar for elastic bands al on the same day
right after that day i couldnt mew anymore. what do i mean by this?
everytime i hard mew or push my tongue against my palate i can only feel the right side of my jaw and face getting soremy left side doesnt work at all when i mew
so i thought that this wasnt a big probmel so i just kept mewing a couple of weeks later i could see my right jaw getting more sharper and defined then my left one this is really unmotivating and concerns me is there anything i could do?

Unfortunately, this has been a reported side-effect of hard mewing. Others have gotten asymmetrical results with jawlines. Dr. Mew needs to put up a disclaimer on his stuff.
