Does your tongue touches your lower incisors bottom part while collecting saliva in tongue sweep?
Mine does.
Are you tongue sweeping quickly like an instinctual reflex? I believe that's how it should be done. Your tongue should not touch the teeth. I touch the part below the incisors, skip the teeth, and bring the tip of the tongue to the incisive papilla; you know the rest.
Yeah most of the times its quick cause i had to consciously practice it a lot as i had tongue thrust until i came to know about tongue posture.
I actually meant that i end up touching the gum part of lower incisors and i am concerned that it may tilt the lower incisors.
Also did you get hollow cheeks?
I dont have hollow cheeks i think i might be using buccinators while collecting saliva.
Listen..the tongue should move around. If it’s stagnant or in one place all the time then the teeth in the other places move in. Your lower teeth come inward with age... so here’s the thing. Don’t even begin to mess with the tongue unless you’ve got a problem with it!
If your tongue is plastered to he roof of your mouth...your lower teeth will concave in faster.
When Dr. John and Mike Mew researched about whose expansion relapsed or continued..they formed a hypothesis..but I can no doubt promise you that these people who didn’t get relapse were not pushing their tongue up or hiding it up there.. what about natural??? Unless you exhibit a tongue problem...no reason to resolve.
When I'm outside I can see that I have hollow cheeks it's more of large dent in the side of face. When I'm inside I can still see the effect reducing buccinater use has done to my face. Pretty and satisfied. hee
Also making your masseters larger helps Mike Mew for example.
