I was look at your change and i see your face swollen. When i chew gum my face becomes swollen to what is your routine tounge chewing or chewing gum with open mouth.
my face gets swollen when I chew closed mouthed. I think open mouth chewing is superior
Hi! It’s Yay :) I don’t actually do any chewing... I have a limited range because of TMJ, and so I stopped chewing stuff probably 9 months ago? I tried mastic and I’ve heard of sap, but my jaw gets sore just eating regular foods lol.
My “routine” is just Mewing all the time I remember it, and that’s all... my face, tongue, and bones beneath my eyes and around my nose are achy so it’s plenty for me!
So based on my latest update for March, I layered over each image in Photoshop, lines them up, and put boxes around things to show where there’s some change. My face does have this “swollen” thing going on but what’s happening is some lower width and not a lot of forward projection. Yet... I’ve started a new place to push and I’m wondering if I can push out my maxilla? It’s the hardest part according to Mike Mew :)

Hey dude, that's really impressive. It's really hard to articulate what sort of changes have happened but they're immediately apparent when you see them.
How many of you guys are capable of mewing while asleep? I can mew for the entire waking day but when I'm unconscious my jaw lowers and mewing becomes infeasible. How long does it take to get my jaw to be closed as its default state?
YAY! I am feeling very happy for you! I am so impressed by the way your bottom lip does not roll (mine still does, hard), and your cheekbones expanding in a very perceivable way!! Great job.
I second, Krollics, questions about mewing while asleep? What do the goals look like in that department?
I find that when I have a lot of negative pressure in my mouth i.e creating a vacuum not only does the tongue stay stuck to the roof of the mouth much more easily but it pulls your lips in and counteracts that lip roll you mention. Also I think it makes your cheeks more hollow.
e: swallowing properly is important too since you want to make your lips less developed
Ideally I’d be doing chewing and sleeping with Good posture, but the most I can do is keep my mouth shut by sleeping with my hand beneath my chin to keep it closed. I may need an expander at night to keep from losing progress I think :)
No gum chewing due to TMJ
