What could cause bottom teeth to start tipping in after getting results from mewing?

Friend started with an overbite and now it seems worse, but mostly because the bottom teeth are all tipping in. She's definitely expanded her palate and experienced obvious upswing. The maxilla might need to be rotated CW.

Edit: She actually just tipped out her top teeth. The bottom teeth just moved in to match.

Has she been keeping teeth together or apart? If apart, is her jaw positioned backward or forward in relation to the upper arch?
