Hey everyone

I noticed that when I chin tuck, the tone in my ears changes, it sounds wierd, like it goes from the normal "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" to a worse sounding/more annoying/more blocking "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO".

Also, when I chin tuck I feel slight pressure around the top part of my right masseter, like under the cheek bone, but only sometimes.

My main concern is the sound, am I doing something wrong?  Does this happen to anyone else?

Mike Mew actually has a video on this I think, I've got tinnitus and the ringing sound changes when I mew, at least initially.

Huh, that's interesting, so you chin tuck correctly?  So I don't have to worry about doing it wrong?  In fact, maybe my tinnitus tone is an indicator I'm chin tucking corretly so I have an advantage?  lol

I do not have tinnitus, but when I chin tuck and swallow with my tongue against my palate, I will very often feel my ears pop and hear some bone around the maxilla crack. Occasionally, this will "unclog" my ears and make my hearing clearer. It's a bit like shaking water out of my ears after swimming, but more subtle, since I often don't notice when my hearing has gone dull, and so the difference is less start. But it's there.

The effect that improving my oral posture had on my ears was the first that I noticed when starting to mew, but I didn't think much of it. I assumed that everybody experienced ear popping and "unclogging" during hard swallows.

EDIT: In case it gets asked, I do not have TMJ, as far as I know.

Yeah some people can like pop their ears just by swallowing, but in my case I can do it without swallowing or without doing anything really if I want to.  Ironically my ears DON'T pop when I swallow lol
