How many years is it going to take until we know how much Cranial facial dystrophy can be fixed in adults and whether or not hard mewing is better than light force from the tongue?

It's a matter of 1 or 2 years. Mewing is all over social media and even popular TV channels.

The more known it becomes the more these sort of treatments will be demanded by the public. If a famous person does it it will boom most likely even faster. People will want to invest and profit of the high demand.

This stuff works no doubt. But it just takes alot of time. We're talking about very very light forces on adult bones.

If your in doubt about whether it works or not, just seek medical help from some1 that understands these topics and go for an appliance. If your in doubt about it you won't be doing it either gladly or sufficiently.

Our facial structure is alot more malleable than other bones and is pa ked with sutures that are there for a reason, which is MOVEMENT. If other bones respond with growth to small fractures, so does the skull.

You have the muay Thai people that develop more and stronger bone on their legs due to kicking trees and sht. It's a fact that the more you use your hands, gym, working etc, the thicker they get. Bodybuilders on hgh grow bigger bones. And so on..and these are compact bone that's different from a maxilla. It's really just a matter of time until it starts getting accepted.

it was something that was always discredited by the professionals working in the field and it sorta became a dogma and widely discredited.

  1. Mike mew is going to a conference in August in America with a bucnch of other scientists  so it should spread even further and faster. Also I belive that craniofacial dystrophy can be completely reversed it just takes time depending on how bad the  craniofacial dystrophy is and how much tougue pressure you can exert

displacing your maxilla/remodeling your maxilla is a very different thing than simply depositing new bone

Yeah g I wasn't too clear on my response. Was just a few examples without much thought. Still, shin conditioning is proven to cause both bone remodeling for a stronger shin and bone modeling. Some of them have big bony bumps you can feel.

I know what the differences between bone remodeling and bone modeling are, I think so at least.

Bone remodeling is pretty much wolffs law and widely known, it's the way your bones stay healthy trough osteoblast and osteoclastic activity right.

Bone modeling on the other hand is what's related to growth of the bone without resorption taking place at the spot where that new bone was laid. Which is what were all hoping is possible here.

I don't believe adults can achieve a rotation of the maxilla naturally as that's just a massive movement on adult bone but I do believe in modeling. Just compare certain pictures of family members from when they were 30 to 60 and you can actually see bigger noses in the ones that clearly have some form of CFD.

Iliac crest bone modeling aswell is something seen in alot of adults due to hip imbalances.

Ribs also have been reported as proof of bone modeling taking place.

People with high levels of PTH, and I read this somewhere along time ago I can't really go further into it, also report alot of bone modeling. PTH was or is being studied for osteoporosis having in mind it directly affects the levels of appositional bone deposition and more efficient bone remodeling.

Bone remodeling is often incorrectly used around here. Cause remodeling usually doesn't mean the bone is modeled differently, aka growth of a maxilla. It usually means your bones just get denser.
