mouth breater? Or maybe u're pushing too hard your tongue on the palate?
Both pictures show downward growth, with the second obviously being more. I noticed on the first picture you had dark circles under your eyes. This is usually a sign that you are having breathing problems. Do you breath from your nose? Do you mouth breath while sleeping? Do you snore? Do you wake up with your mouth and throat dry?
Out of curiosity what is the age difference between the two pictures?

Yes I breathe through my nose mostly and I don’t mouth breathe during sleep. The first picture is just from prior orthodontics and early twenties and the last picture is late twenties and 2 years of mewing.

I have no idea what the orthodontist did to your face but the difference is huge for less than a decade of time.

I think the angle in the second picture is off since you're sitting down and maybe leaning backwards? You should take another picture where you're standing up.
What's your mewing routine? Are you practicing proper head posture?
I actually had to get Invisalign to help with the teeth alignment so now I am able to keep mouth closed and maintain a better posture.
When you mew are your teeth lightly touching? Or not touching at all?
Once I breathed through my nose with my teeth lightly touching, I noticed my lower third shortened and then tightened up.
That might be one factor.
Also, how's your body posture?
Can't really compare between these two pics.
I think the difference is caused by you not wearing your retainer. I saw on another post you stopped wearing it and since you had extractions I think that was a mistake because when extractions are involved mewing is going to be a lot harder naturally. You tried mewing but couldn't do it right and that's why you have more downward growth. I think your best bet is to get braces or Invisalign and concentrate on keeping your mouth closed while mewing as best as you can and that should move your jaws back to where they were at least. I think if you want to actually try just mewing you would need a palate expander or to replace the extracted teeth.
It may also be a difference in the type of camera/lens and your distance from the camera.
