Have you been evaluated for a tongue tie?

I started this journey in 2017 and only 2 months ago was diagnosed with a tongue tie when I went to a DNA appliance dentist.  This whole time I thought there was no way I had a tongue tie, but now that I have a better picture of what's going on, I can see that I haven't been properly "mewing" at all due to a physical inability to get the tongue up as high as it needs to be.

I really don’t think you need anymore maxillary upswing and your forward growth seems good.

Actually if your got anymore forward and upward growth you might begin to look a bit awkward.

You’re good to go. 😀

I have done the same error for 2 years like it's clear : soft mewing does not work for adult (for bone change anyways) i started hard mewing like 3 months ago and change are clearly noticeable.

How do you explain my IMW going from 37mm in 2018 to 50mm today 2021, I am 21 years old? I've been soft mewing for the past year.

Actual bone changes? Do you feel it in your skull like the pressure?

@auxiliarus yes same I got results but very less than you maybe your state of maxillary suture maturation still very changeable. Actually, from the time I posted, I re switched on soft mewing most of the time and sometimes medium mewing. Actually crazy change you got you are lucky. I'm the same age as you. And did you get visible widening of the face + on the last year with soft mewing only how many mm did you gain ?

@nevergiveup yeah same, not so much on the zygos after a few months but the nose cavity i always feel it there. Especially at night when im laying down for sleep and the norm is for me to be hardmewing as hard as i can. I legit can not not hardmew even if i wanted to anymore at night.

Not sure, I don't really count anymore, I don't get any widening anymore I've been at it for years now.

Yes, I did get visible widening of the face, my fWHR increased by about 0.1-0.15

Your face looks better. The forehead looks stronger, the neck is thicker, overall more defined square shape.

It is totally working. congrats!

Bro please teach me. I’d really kill to have a jaw like you. I just can’t seem to get it right or do it right. I don’t know what a suction hole feels like. Every time I mew I feel like I’m using considerable force. When I try to do the sweep I feel this sucking vacuum that pulls on my teeth and my lips stick to my teeth, it’s gotten to the point were my teeth feel like their wiggle or loose when I know they aren’t . I can barely mew for 10 minutes straight without constant trying to swallow and get the build up out of my throat or swallowing saliva. I just want to do things correctly. I have an overbite.
