Could my cranial asymmetry and unilateral facial weakness be linked?

My palate is much narrower on one side. As a result I have a crossbite, and corresponding maxillary recession. I suspect this is responsible for the lack of under eye support causing that eye to have negative canthal tilt.

But beyond structural asymmetry I've noticed functional issues as well. The nostril is much more closed than the healthy side. The facial muscles are much less responsive to my control. When I smile, the muscles on that side barely rise. The cheek is flat in relation to that of the healthy side. And the eyelid droops. I'm tempted to self diagnose Ptosis or Bell's Palsy, but perhaps not quite as severe. And I'm only 23.

I wonder if it's possible that there is a relation between skeletal recession and this ostensible nerve damage. I'm going to be attempting NCR on myself soon

and I just remembered that I broke my nose playing baseball at the age of 12. The doctor chose not to attempt realignment. I'd be curious if that has had any effect in all of this

I have facial asymmetry induced by asymmetryc orthodontic treatment, and I feel... how do describe it, less energy on 1 side of my face, especially I notice I have a harder time concentrating with 1 of my eyes. I think its not nerve damage, its just compression that when released will go back to almost full function.
