Does my tongue posture look right?

I've been attempting to mew for almost a week and I'm just wondering if the tongue posture looks correct from the side profile. I know my head is way too far forward, but that was just because I was awkwardly trying to take the picture. Some people say that when they start mewing a way to tell they may be doing it right is that they have difficulty breathing through their nose. I feel like I can breathe fine through my nose, but after a while I start to feel a bit dizzy as if there's a lack of oxygen. Anyways, I was just wondering if the tongue posture looks correct because there's a tiny part at the back that just won't go up, despite it feeling like I'm getting as much tongue to the roof as possible. Thanks if you have any comments.

With just 1 pic it doesn't LOOK like you are in a good posture, it looks like the geniohyoid and mylohyoid muscle are loose a bit.

That's why the emphasis on "look" because what it looks might not be a fact, so to be more precise needs a comparison in rest position to compare with the proper posture pic.

It seems like you really have to play with how it feels to get it right, rather than being able to tell from the outside. Try working on your tongue position while in a McKenzie chin tuck against a wall, and then move away, to learn what it feels like. Maybe you can set up a couple of mirrors in your room to help with photos?

Like Hetfield said, I too think your hyoid isn't high enough. I agree with your assessment that you aren't getting the back of the tongue up. Proper chin tucking and head/neck posture will help this a lot, especially when if practice proper swallowing. Strengthening the muscles responsible for keeping the hyoid bone/tongue root up will be necessary as well. I talk about it in this post /community/community/main-forum/an-effective-exercise-to-strengthen-the-root-of-the-tongue/

How can you tell that his hyoid isn't high enough? Is it because the area under his chin doesn't seem high / tight enough?
This happens to me when I mew
