hey i am Stan and I am 18 years old and i am mewing now for 2 months i didn"t got breastfed in the past because my mom got sick by birth so i never did mewing before..

but after a while i went to a orthodontist to fix my small overbite and my not straighten teeth..

after like 5 years my braces got finnaly off but i never where very proud of my looks i hated myself

lucky i came to mewing but at a pretty old age in my opinion.. i am now try to mew every time but when i put my tongue fully up my i can barely breath this is because i have a narrow and a little arched palate and i am thinking of getting an expander but i don't know which one is really good i hear + and - on every different expander.

i also have a upper and lower fixed retainers on 6 teeth both should i remove them or should i replace them by upper lower fixed on 4 teeth.

i also chew falim gum 3x times a week and tongue chew every day somebody know how to progressvive overload on this?

also what makes my side and front profile so weird looking?

and sorry for my bad english

Slight dorsal hump. Left masseter seems more developed than the right. Assymetric eyes and significant upper eyelid exposure. Your upper lip is also quite thin. All in all nothing dramatic tho and you look fine.

Do not remove retainers.   You will lose whatever width you have left!  Mewing with pressure builds a stronger tongue which is then less likely to fit.  I prefer other methods for expansion.  You may also have created the eye asymmetry through Mewing?  Usually your eyes are associated with your top molars.  Do look for adult tongue tie.  Dr. Derek Mahony has a good YouTube vid on how to look for tongue ties in adults. :-)

Don't really get what you're talking about with losing expansion. If his mewing technique is correct then he'll gain intermolar width, there's a very low chance that he'll lose width if he took off his retainers.

And to answer your question mr.mewing, you haven't found out about this late and you look fine, just keep doing what you're doing, perhaps build up your chewing to 5-7 times a week instead of 3(Mike Mew recommends hard chewing for an hour everyday, but your mileage may vary so be careful). Keep the back of your tongue up enough that you can breathe, and eventually your airway will expand. Your retainers shouldn't make too much of an impact and remember to have good posture as this will accelerate your results a lot. And last but not least do NOT hate yourself for the way you look, and don't expect results to come overnight. Keep up the hard work, and over time you'll see results.

yeah my though about this where i am doing tongue chewing every day and i try to progressive overload by adding somethimes an extra piece of soft gum but i feel after tongue chewing i expand it a little but at the end of the day it feels it came back at place in a really small time gap
