Hello all, I'm new to mewing, I don't know much appart from the fact that I need to stop breathing with my mouth and keep my tongue on the palate to correct improper face growth; so I'm asking a few questions to you guys, who are more experienced than me :

- Is 15 years old too late to correct how my face structure grew (jaw, nose, cheekbones ...)?

- How can I keep my mouth closed and my tongue on my palate during night ?

- Is there anything more I can work on to improve this before it's too late to make aesthetics changes ?

- And because my teeth grew very poorly I currently have braces (only on the top teeth for the moment, but soon on the bottom teeth), will mewing get affected or affect my treatment in any ways ?

(Actual face (taken while mewing) : https://imgur.com/a/aAYfeQ5 )

Thanks for reading !

(and if I was not supposed to post this here I'm sorry, I'm french so I have difficulties understanding the website organisation at 100%, but I try my best)

You are starting sooner than most of us. Results will be harder for you than for children with more of their growth still ahead of them, but your results will be easier if you start now than if you wait. In addition to posturing your tongue on the roof of your mouth, work on correcting your swallowing habits, strengthening your tongue and masseters with exercises including chewing, and improving your head and body posture. You could try mouth taping to ensure you breath through your nose during sleep. Depending on the kind of braces you have, they might impede expanding the palate, but if you have enough tongue space to practice good oral posture, they shouldn't prevent upward and forward changes in the maxilla.

Definitely not, many in here are in the mid-late 20's I think.  Check out this blog, the girl in this started when she was 23, wasn't able to figure out how to keep her mouth closed while sleeping, and still achieved drastic results:   https://thehumanunderground.wordpress.com/2016/07/17/what-makes-a-face-attractive-its-all-in-the-tongue/

Honestly you don't have a bad side profile at all, and you can also achieve considerable improvements.  The X factor is how dedicated you are.  If you don't give up no matter what I think you'll eventually see success.

15 is a good age to begin, just do it.

I honestly don't see anything in your bone structure that needs correction, from mewing or otherwise. Adopt good tongue posture for sure, but I'm not sure what you're looking to improve aesthetics wise.

I am interested in this last part. I am wearing invisalign braces right now, so according to you it should be still possible for me to archieve progress from mewing even with these braces on? That would make me very optimistic. BTW 40mm IMW.
