Ok, so off the bat this is just a logo.

But I found it rather curious that the face of this Mermaid has amazing forward growth. Even graphic designers are aware of the aesthetic value of a forward grown face.
What is also curious is how few people this resembles. Do you know many people with this type of profile? I sure don't . Most people I know have midface deficiency with a strong chin (sunken midface) or chin deficiency (sunken lower third) with a long midface. This artistic rendition has a great midface position plus a strong chin. Not even many celebrities are this forward grown.
The funny thing is that there are loads of people around Coronado that have that much forward growth. I was fortunate enough to grow up in North County San Diego. I took a trip back to visit my brother and while I was in Encinitas, I marveled at some people's forward grown faces (particularly the local surfers). Flanged cheekbones, prominent chins, small noses, low gonial angles... they all looked so healthy!
I chalk this up to having strong cores from swimming, more opportunities to walk upright down the coast, and also the food! When eating a pizza there, I noticed how tough the bread was. The first thing that came to mind was Mike Mew's Danish patients. When they visited their relatives in Denmark, they complained about how much the bread hurt their jaws. Clearly the Danes are a prettier race than the English. Is it the genes, or is it the bread?
I definitely know that physical activity done early and throughout life helps with facial development which is why jocks are known for their facial aesthetics and nerds aren't.
I recently noticed Gabriella Kreuz interviewing people on a sports show:
Great example. Her whole jaw area is ahead of her forehead without excessive lip protrusion (acute nasolabial angle) or an overly projecting chin
