I was diagnosed with Ulnar Nerve Neuropathy (cubital tunnel syndrome). Two weeks back, the ulnar side of my hand went numb. I was referred to a neurologist who performed and nerve conduction test, and he diagnosed me with Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. He told that this is not severe and does not require surgery. I have changed my habits and tried to keep my elbow as straight as possible.

Now, I have started experiencing some unusual sensations in my palm. There are a crawling sensation and splinter-like sensation around the muscles in the ulnar side of my palm. It is not painful and happens randomly throughout the day.

I am planning to visit a registered massage therapy from Mississauga. Could "mild" CTS cause nerve damage, and could my nerve be healing? Has anyone had experience with this? Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about nerve healing, but I do know that it's important to move in a way that doesn't perpetuate damage.

Here are some videos with tips on how to move you arms in a way to avoid straining the muscles and nerves:

I hope they are helpful.
