I try to mew during the night but i always end up waking up with a stuffed nose or hard to breath with my nose during the morning, even when i go outside it becomes hard to breath through my nose if its windy or if i'm waking fast. I am aware that i have something called polyp, i was told about this as a child and the doctors told my parents that it shouldn't be a problem since my head should grow over time, but apparently it never did since i still have the same problem and if i get surgery i will be prone to becoming sick more often, can mewing fix this problem, such as having stuffy nose most of the time or is there no solution other than surgery? I've been mewing for 3 days btw
If you have proper posture, you should experience small adjustments overtime which will make breathing through your nose easier. I used to have a running nose nearly all the time. Since I started mewing, my runny nose slowly dissappeared.
Nasal airways are best opened by breathing a little less. They get stuffed because you are inhaling too much oxygen, which in turn displaces too much CO2 through exhalation. Closing the nasal turbinates is a way of retaining more CO2. Usually at night time breathing is at its deepest, and thus CO2 loss highest.
When you wake up, allow your breathing to be otherwise automatic, but cut the inhale short at 90%. Relax yourself while doing this. If you tense up, you are cutting the inhalation too short. Your nose will open up shortly and you will feel awake. A quicker way to open up the nose is to hold the breath for close to as long as you can, but this is more stressful to the body.

For sure, I've always had poor nose breathing, now I can exercise with nose breathing even, the changes are massive.
