I've been mewing for almost one month now and i've noticed that my jawline became a bit wider and like a square shape,
and it DOESN'T LOOK GOOD, is my jaw getting bigger due to mewing or not?
and i want to know if mewing makes the jawline V shaped (which is what i want) or does it make it wider and square like shape?
i'd appreciate some anwers and clarification.
Yes, mewing may make your (other people too) mandible wider and more angular, that in turn gives your face a squarish look. Now, let me take a guess you're a girl? Idk how you make your jaw angular without widening it.
You should not hard mew in my opinion, because It might enhance the features that you already have and I think this not what you want.
Were you even aware what are the effects of mewing when you started?
What was your purpose? Getting more "attractive"?
The woman in the pic has a very strong, maybe eccessive, facial bone structure making her not so attractive >TO ME<
Mouthbreathing makes your face grow vertically exposing the lenght and angle at the chin of the mandible because It swings down, but It Is not Ideal. I don't know if I was clear...
I guess that you have nice teeth and good and functional facial development but you are not satisfied due to the standard of beauty you have in your head, or because you want to look like someone else.
Pics?
unless you are very high in testosterone or have quite a masculine build, I am doubtful that your case would turn out that extreme. women who have well developed faces/good oral posture don't turn out looking like that
You're not gonna see any significant change from mewing alone in a one month span. The way we perceive our own face depends greatly on angles, lightning, mood, time of day, clothing etc. Its highly unlikely that you will observe any actual objective change yourself unless you're comparing pictures taking under identical conditions, which I doubt was the case here. Instead of relying on your own biased view of yourself to judge whether you're becoming more attractive, instead rely on feedback from others. Also if you experience any functional gains from mewing its highly likely that your attractiveness also increased, as good health and good looks are synonymous. You're setting yourself up for BDD and other mental health issues by constantly analysing your own face, and it just doesen't bring anything good anyway.
I think a chin tuck helps with making the jawline V- shaped, just a personal theory, so no evidence.
Keeping the chin tucked down and in, might apply pressure to make the face less square? Idk.
I mean isn't a jaw supposed to V shaped? lol
Also Pame is right, ask a friend or something to compare pictures and see if you actually changed or not.
What? No, mewing Is supposed to upswing and shorten your face making It more squared if looked from the front
This Is what I get if I google V jawline...
You can see a lot of asians and a device that should recesse your chin in order to get a V jawline .That's because they have unnatural standard of beauty and they are even willing to ruin their face in order to achieve them.
only chewing would make your jaw more squared( and increase FWHR). in my opinion mewing only improves midface, zygos, and eyes
