While searching for new videos about mewing on youtube, I stumbled upon the channel "facehacking". The guy seems to have decent knowledge about the subject and shows the changes he's made in his face since april. He says that if dealing with an overbite one should fix manually the upper and lower teeth so that they are in perfect positioning with each other and then mew by exerting forces directly upwards and forwards against the side rows of your teeth (in the video there are images showing exactly how he does it) he also says the forces directly on the side rows of your teeth are more important than the forces on the roof of your mouth, due to people not being able to reach it because their palates might be to narrow/high.
Do you guys think this might be the best way to do it starting with an overbite? I once watched a video in which Mew explained it should be done with the overbite positioning and eventually the forces will bring forwards the mandible naturally but that hasn´t worked for me, should I try this way? and has any of your been mewing in this manner. here's the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4rtJupcf60
i also watched it before, i think manual correction of overbite will be only possible or works when there is only slight overbite, just keep the natural position of mouth and mew, thats appropriate
I watched this video and don't agree with the tongue posture he recommends. It's common for people who keep their tongue too low in their mouth to splint it between the teeth. This is often associated with a maladaptive swallow pattern, reflected by a scalloped appearance along the edge of the tongue, and can promote a posterior open bite. Dr. Mew describes this in many videos as a sign of poor oral posture. To achieve skeletal rather than dental changes, we want the tongue pushing up, forward, and sideways on the palate not just forward on the teeth. So the method Facehacking proposes with the tongue between the teeth is probably counterproductive.
Look at this guys results though I mean it has clearly worked for him and he started when he was 20!

I don't know that we can interpret much of anything from these images with his entire midface pixelated, and different lighting, camera angles, head position, etc. I guess his gonion looks more defined, but so does everything else in the harder light that casts shadows. We can't see anything of his zygomas or maxilla.

Facehacking is a non-professional quack. Ignore him. He knows nothing and has no education.
30 yo, need to expand palate, move maxilla upward and forward, reduce gonial angle.
I'm not against or with anybody here, but the man behind Facehacking is studying business and is interested in learning about the science behind attraction. I'll have you know @le_fort_or_bust that he...put you in one of his videos tee hee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJNKOZcZwiw in 0:26
