Looks well over 40, perhaps 45? Take a ruler, go stand in front of a mirror, open your mouth and measure for yourself. Come back to tell me how correct I was.
Nice palate. Looks over 40mm for sure, probably mid-40's unless you have a small skull or teeth. Like Progress said just use a ruler.
Just measured it and got 44mm. Im surprised its this wide since ive been a mouthbreather all my entire life since this year and harbour all the signs of a retruded maxilla yet my palate is very wide. Also I have class II division II malocclusion and deep bite so according to Mew I should be 34mm

Is it possible for me to see more palate expansion from mewing, or do you get into diminishing returns once you reach mid 40s?
But yeah, a wide palate is great for tongue space, but not the end all for a face. People like henry cavil have a narrower palate yet he has a lot more facial width than me. Any ideas how to get more facial width?
Maybe you need to press forward more when you mew not much to the sides with your tongue. Then your face should come forward. Probably with this wider plate your face won’t get any wider looking from the front. But if you push forward with new you could get a wider profile/ depth
It's likely that your palate will keep expanding for as long as the tongue is able to exert lateral pressure. I'm at 42 mm and feel like I could easily expand up to 50.
The impression of a wide face often requires the face to swing upward first. Since you have been a mouthbreather, downward rotation & position of the maxilla might be your main problem. Henry Cavill in your example has both decent maxillary position and rotation, which makes him able to get away with lesser palatal width and the resultant lesser cheekbone development.
I agree with @edgecis that focusing on up and forward push may be more worthwhile than trying to intentionally expand any further..

How do you intentionally focus up and forward?
