HELP PLEASE i started mewing about 6 months ago and i would mew very hard along with clenching teeth and i started having problem like headaches, anxiety, jaw popping, pain behind the eyes and disturbed kinda feelings and i stoped hard mewing now its been 3 weeks and that i only put my tongue against my plate firmly and only do correct swallowing but i still have light headaches do you think i should just stop mewing and what's the correct way to mew without causing any problem.
Do not hard mew or clench. You're teeth should be lightly touching or very slightly apart. You shouldn't be forcefully mewing as you do when you hard mew.

^Why you shouldn't be hard mewing^
You should be trying to fix your head posture and along with that keeping lips together, teeth together, tongue on the roof of the mouth, and swallowing correctly. If you want a stronger tongue do tongue chewing and myofunctional exercises.

Link below is about tongue ties but the first response by ayla has stretching exercises that could possibly strengthen the tongue, not sure though.
