I feel like my profile looks better from the left. Also my jaw is more defined on the left side. My left eye has better support, because in my right eye is a "sanpaku" eye while my left one looks rather normal, though not perfect.
yes, it is entirely possible. have you determined if you have a tongue and/or jaw muscle imbalance?

I don't think I have muscle imbalance. What can I do in order to even the sides out? If that's even possible...
More pressure on the weak side and/or less on the stronger side until symmetry is restored.
Go up to a mirror and try and establish if your tongue doesn't sit dead-center when you are at rest or practicing mewing.

Yeah, I have this as well. Inside my mouth the right side looks like I was punched and the teeth/maxilla was crushed in. I have 2 back molars properly erupted with intermolar 46 mm between them and the right one is almost the entire tooth-with (about 4-5 mm) further out than the rest of the teeth. The left side is nowhere that bad. When I mew I feel the entire right side is super sore, because the tongue is pushing the teeth back into position. The canine on the right side is also tipped in and the first incisor from the right is tipped out (no room in the front).
how do you guys reckon you got into this imbalance to begin with? I've never had tongue on palate posture for the first 23 years of my life and I don't think I've had issues with symmetry. I'm really interested as to why and how such a thing occurs
My best guess is that my tongue was not up there for most of my life, which eventually resulted in a narrow V shaped front arch with tipped in & crowded teeth. I used to hold my tongue in between my lower teeth, resting in the mandible, but I never breathed through the mouth unless I was sleeping or exercising. The crowding eventually forced the right side to curve inwards worsening the inward tilt, because the right most incisor (maxilla) gave way forwards and allowed the rest of the teeth to do that. This then led to an imbalance in the mandible and the entire bite, which spread to the rest of the face.
If I allign my teeth for the front incisors to meet properly, I cant bite together, because the teeth on the right side are bent inwards and my mandible won't fit the maxilla. Basically my entire maxillary arch (the teeth) need to widen (expand), especially on the right (about 5 mm) and about 2-3 mm on the left. The maxilla needs about 2 milimeters forward growth. If this happens the netire bite would be corrected. Any other skeletal expansion would just be icing on the cake.
I checked and the bone part of the maxilla is there, its wide enough. My upper second set of molers have an intermolar distance of 46 mm for example (my first set of molars 3 monts ago had at best 40 mm, that is a HUGE difference for teeth coming one after another). I need to achieve lateral expansion from tilting the teeth back into place and set the other teeth in line with these molars in a proper arch. After that, only minimal skeletal expansion is needed, because I'll be in the 40+ zone.
XD I still have 28 teeth (minus wosdom teeth), they are all healthy, barely warn .. ima effin do dis!
When I mew all my teeth in the maxilla on both sides (especially on the right tho) minus the front 2 main incisors, :P they hurt, because mewing is moving them. The inside of my cheeks is sore and I can feel my bite changing week by week. Its like having braces, maybe better.
Do you favour one side for chewing or sleeping on?
I seem to favor right side for chewing, I sleep on the left side.
Added pic in the before post, shows left side teeth don't fit (my right side). Maxillary teeth tilt causes tilt in the mandible teeth as well so the bite adapts. All side teeth in my mandible are tileted in as well. Its worse on the right side. I basically chew on their sides.... also I don't have a full smile, only front canines, the first premolar and the incisors tend to be visible.
@dominik if you got a front palate expander that might move ur progress up reallly fast

Myeah, but I can't mew with that on and I can only get it from my orthodontist, who won't do it without full treatment plan. I'll just mew. Its working.
@dominik i would do the same thing but my upper front teeth are very retroclined and i think just fixing that will solve my overbite and mewing doesnt really tip teeth
what the full treatment plan?
