How on earth do you manage to keep your tongue firmly pressed against the back palate and around your back molars?

After 1-2 seconds of doing this my throat gets really sore (like a muscle strain) and the suction loosens up.

Also, are we meant to hold this position 24/7 (aside from eating and talking) or is just having the tongue touching the palate (without pressure) suitable until the suction right before a swallow?

Hey,

Eventually it will be so easy you won't even think about it, just keep at it and you'll get there.

I try to keep my throat as open as I can while the back of my tongue as clenched and stable as I can, then just hold it there from the back muscle of the tongue. They told me muscle memory. It's like meditation, u need motivation/willpower to it, if you want it to be fast. For me 5 days of trying to mew, without hard pushing, my cheekbones are almost symmetrical, the one that was behind came just barely noticably forward. But I'm not sure about this, bad lighting doesn't help, I mew hoping for better chin, shorter nose. Prettyscale app said I have asymetric face and I realized that it's less noticable. Do some jaw exercises and tongue stretching in case of injury every day. We can do it
