Hi there, I am fairly knew to mewing and just have a question about tongue positioning. When i pull the back of my tongue up to the back of my mouth it feels as though my uvula is being pulled forward and lying between my tongue and mouth. Maybe this is not the case but i can feel as small fleshy piece of tissue intruding between my tongue and palate. Does anyone else experience this when the posterior region of the tongue is against the roof of the mouth? Should this be happening? And if not, how can I correct this issue?

Any feedback and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you get an answer or has that technique worked or have you since changed positions. Ive been mewing for a year now but it’s never felt right. Now when I pull my tongue back I can actually get my uvula to touch my middle/tip part of my tongue leaving the hard palate with pretty much no contact of the tongue. Have you gained progress then and should I continue to aim for this sensation ?
