Saw this article from the orthotropics Facebook page the other day  https://www.facebook.com/orthotropics/photos/a.438740862823750/2195672933797192/?type=3&theater

Looks like the eye shape has become more horisontal as the maxilla has come up and forwards. Also notice theres more under eye support. Im wondering exactly what causes these changes? What other eye area changes are there to expect from mewing and why?

Seems as maybe "hunter eyes" is just a consequence of the maxilla being in its ideal position?

Yes, the eyes have been more vertically narrow and shaped like almonds...kind of. Imagine if you had a recessed maxilla, it would show more of the eye because the skin is attached to the bone and the skin is getting pulled back by the maxilla.

Less eyebags, due to you maxilla support.

Reduced sclera, as seen in the Facebook post.

Reduced eyelid show, because your eyes aren't protruding as much as before.

And some more.

My eyes have gotten MORE open as my maxilla has rotated but not in a bad way. They are not with scleral show but instead just less almond shaped and more round.

As my nose bridge has gotten stronger and my eyes more deep set I noticed over time I was developing an inner epicanthic fold that has now disappeared. I noticed this because I took eye only progress pics. Now don't get me wrong. The folds were very mild to non existing. But it gave my eyes a tired/dumbfounded look. Now my nose bridge had come out and pulled the skin away, making my inner eyelid more lifted away from the inner eye.

Not saying my eyes looked down syndrome like but maybe they just had a less pleasing shape and probably an overall "spacey" look where now they look more lively. And I think it was because the new maxillary position pushed them more into my skull thus exposing my nose bridge (which previously looked weak but is getting stronger).

I feel like mewing is just balancing out my face more and more.

@eddiemoney When you say your eyes became more open do you mean that they became more hooded?

Its insane how big of a role your eyes play in how alert and healthy you look. We humans communicate through the eyes and so the eye area gives very strong indications to how healthy a person is.

I have ptosis on my right eye which Im looking to get fixed ASAP and Im hoping it will help give me a more alert and healthy looking appearance.

My eyes have always  been hooded. Their shape has changed from almond to more round. In other words the skin from around the inner eye (near the nose) has lifted up where previously it would sink down. Maybe a form of mild ptosis on both eyes. I have no idea. But my inner eye is more open now. The skin around the inner eye looks more taut and less fatty.

Also will mention my eyes did improve their canthal tilt to a more positive/neutral variation where they previously were droopy and just overall kinda low IQ looking.

Idk a lot of those pics look the same and just involve differing levels of eye shadow. But mine look close to hooded/round

@progress how is that inane. I'm trying to learn, why I can't ask a question. I'm not even spamming I literally only asked this question 2 or 3 times so how about you chill, ok. You could answer my questions aswell, and don't insult me. As a moderator, i would assume you're more mature than that.

1. You are continuously flooding threads with up to three questions in separate posts [1] [2]. I already sent you a PM about this and asked you not to do it. Did you see the message?

2. Familiarize yourself with the search function (found in the upper right corner within the gray toolbar). The topics you are inquiring about have already been discussed many times.

3. Many of the users you are tagging have not been active in months/years.

4. Asking "how to get hunter eyes" or "how to get brow ridge" is as inane as it gets, considering the scope of this forum. This is foremostly a community of individuals who are trying to fix their postural-structural maldevelopment and related issues. If your concerns are purely aesthetic, there are better communities dedicated for such pursuits, for ex. looksmax.me. They will tell you what surgeries and fillers to get.

My intent is not to insult you, but to ask you to respect the spirit of this community. I am sure you understand.

@progress I understand and as a moderator you're doing your job well. My concerns are far from purely aesthetic as I do have health concerns, but I don't know who to ask etc. Yes I'm more than aware alot these users are very sporadic or idle some even abandoned this forum. Which is why I try to ask questions on recent posts. I have searched through google and found results on the GreatWork addressing my aesthetic questions, but haven't been answered in my opinion. Also I asked the questions several times, to different people, so I am not comprehending how I'm stamming. I assume I received your PM. And infact, alot of people who even learn about this is dominated at first by aesthetic reasons. I'm reading the threads and they aren't too many functions or predominantly health threads. I do understand what you're trying to say, and also I'm in for natural solutions, not surgery and fillers. And I don't think it would be right for you to assume and act like I'm shallow, because I'm very much even for health reasons, but just because I asked questions regarding eyes doesn't mean I'm here for purely aesthetic reasons. Also how did you even pick me up in the 1st place. And please don't play a hyperbole and say I'm "flooding" the forum, which I am not. I am just eager for a detailed answer from an expert. Thank you, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say; and I hope you stay safe and have a blessed week. Take care!

@progress you're incredibly rude tbh! @thebeastpanda has asked a legit question - there's no such thing as a stupid question. If you can't be fair then remove yourself from the thread!
