I've been mewing pretty hard for 3 months and as expected, I haven't seen much results. The only thing I've noticed is that my nose seems to have been pushed forward. Since the maxilla is moving up and forward will that cause my nose to move with it? I'm obviously new this and would love some advice!
Hey Thanks for the info., I'd like to know if widening my palate only using my tongue can widen my nose arch? And if it can how do I need to place my tongue?
I'm NOT a fan of palatal expansion typically for the effect on the facial aesthetics.. there's only 1 type of palatal expansion I'd even consider... will need to post on this later.
Please do inform us as to which form of palatal expansion this is
Your nasal bone rests on top of your maxilla and your nasal aperture is surrounded by your maxilla so yes, mewing will change your nose.
What mewing did to my nose is:
1. That it made my nose show just a little less nostril.
2. It made my nose vertically aligned.
3. It also made it prominent (In the sense of looks, not size)
4. It made my dorsal hump depress, and the tip of my nose moved forwards due to the maxilla which made the dorsal hump look smaller.
Are you just mewing or are you mewing w/ chin tuck and good body posture? Seems like everyone who's gotten substantial results here has emphasized full body posture w/ chin tuck in addition to proper tongue posture.
I have no dorsal bump and my nose is straight and petite. If mewing makes it change in shape, it can significantly affect my aesthetics. This is somewhat of a concern. What to do?
30 yo, need to expand palate, move maxilla upward and forward, reduce gonial angle.

Hey, how long have you been mewing and how old are you? I'm 20 years old and I have a dorsal hump as a result of my face growing down due to braces at puberty (no one in my whole family has a dorsal hump and I didn't have it before I got braces)
A few months like three and I'm almost 14. 😊 I put that emoji because that was my facial expression when reading your post.
I'm almost 14.
Whoa, you're going to get incredible results. Keep us all updated!
This is interesting. I have no dorsal hump but my nose is upturned slightly and has a sort of baby faced look to it. Bone structure looks overall weak in it. Would it make sense for the nose to go down so less nostril is showing and a dorsal hump to actually start to show up, since the nose is coming down and forward?
Hi is there any way you could show me some before and afters or your nose? Everyone claims to get these effects but there it is yet to be proven. My jaw has improved from mewing and so have my cheekbones but my nose still remains yo be droopy and has a dorsal hump. Is there anything you did specifically to achieve an upturned result?
