hi there, I am a 19 year old male and am new to mewing. When mew with significant force I feel an uncomfortable pressure in my cheekbones. It reminds me of the feeling I had in my teeth when I first god braces. Is this good or bad?

I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer. I also experience a pressure in my cheekbones, but I consider this positive. In my own observation, there's no way to really know for sure until some time has passed and I assess my face.

I consider what's happened to my face and skull to be an improvement, so I use that pressure as an indicator that I'm continuing in the right direction.

Ultimately, though, everyone is different.
