  1. A few weeks ago I legit sounded like darth Vader when engaging my whole tongue with the palate, how ever when I do it now it’s nearly silent. Does this mean I’ve pushed my maxilla forward so that now the back of my tongue doesn’t impede my air way or that my airway just adapted?  I’m just hesistant labeling it as expansion since it only took me around 4 days of loud breathing for it to completely subside, while mewing claims to take many months/years to work. At the same time I’m only 16 while megadosing k2 d3 manesium zinc and calcium so I guess rapid change isn’t completely impossible. Opinions?

No, you most certainly haven't pushed your maxilla forward with your tongue. There is not one single confirmed & irrefutable case on record of anyone pushing their maxilla forward with their tongue, and especially not in just a few days. Doesn't matter how much k2 you took. What's more likely to have happened is that your tongue muscles have adapted in order to put your tongue in a better position against the palate and that this new position is better for breathing.

Isn’t the entire premise of mewing to expand the palate and push the maxilla up and forwards? Which causes forward growth. What do you mean there is no cases of proof? On the Orthotropics subreddit people post side profiles and it’s evident they have had their maxilla moved forward.  When I started I couldn’t breathe when I barely engaged the root of my tongue, now I can push as hard as I can and it makes a very slight noise. I used the siNG method for engaging the root to maintain consistency throughout the soft palate engagement.

Two things.  First of all, while @AlphaMinus is correct in that there's little available evidence out there, saying that you have definitively *not* moved your maxilla with your tongue is poor science.  Lack of evidence does not make the inverse of the hypothesis true.

That said, I agree with the second part of @AlphaMinus' paragraph.  It's highly *unlikely* your maxilla has repositioned itself in the course of a few days.  Even people who claim to have seen results have reported taking months if not years to see any movement at all.  Again, I agree with @AlphaMinus that the most likely explanation is that your tongue has adapted, which is, at the end of the day, still tremendous progress.

By the way, one exercise that has supercharged my progress towards good position recently - do an extreme chin tuck, then proper swallow.  Do this as many times a day as you can.  In the past 2 weeks my tongue has become able to reach deeper/higher than ever before.
