I've watched the tongue sweep videos and i have been trying to practice it a lot.
I can swallow solids while doing cheesy smile but i cant swallow saliva or liquids like that.
How do you collect saliva/liquids on top of your tongue without closing your mouth?
Do you expand your tongue horizontally or anything like that?
And i have slight gap in my upper incisors, can it interfere in any way to swallow properly?
It’s difficult to explain but you have to make “mini swallows” so to speak to build up to a big swallow. This means making the wave motion with your tongue rapidly - it should come almost instinctively. I have difficulty swallowing as well, because my tongue contacts my teeth (which my dentist doesn’t want) and I can see it through the gap between my top and bottom when I swallow at the n-spot.
