I need help. Should sides of the tounge press on back teeth when holding correct tounge position?
Also What is a diffrence between Hard Mewing and Regular Mewing?
Yes it's normal for the tongue to press against the sides of the teeth. Say you have a 37mm inter molar width. That will give you enough space to fit your tongue up there but not comfortably.
So your tongue will keep applying light pressure and the teeth will move in response. The same thing happens with swallowing.
"Hard Mewing" is something some forum members here invented. It's not part of what Dr. Mew teaches.
