One of the most frustrating things about mewing is that our community is large (and growing), but we still don't seem to have many good guides on the topic itself. I've learned everything I could about mewing from reading scattered forum posts and of course Mike's videos.
So, I took it upon myself to write this well-sourced guide to mewing which is pretty much exhaustive for someone just getting started. Some of the evidence presented I didn't even know about until I started further researching
For example:
For example, in a study conducted in 2014 published in the Korean Journal of Orthodontics, the corrective tongue posture technique was able to correct an overbite and bring the entire face forward. After a two-year relapse using retainers, the mewing technique produced lasting effects for 10 years now according to the study.
The study concluded that: “The application of the tongue elevator resulted in intrusive dentoalveolar effects, and counterclockwise rotation of the mandible. Treatment results were maintained for six years, which indicated long-term stability. In conclusion, a tongue elevator could be an effective alternative for treatment of open-bite, not only as an active retainer, but also as a viable treatment method.”
I would really love to see more of these kinds of studies to come out... especially ones establishing a clear link with proper tongue posture and various cosmetic/health benefits.
Let me know if there's anything else you would like to see included in this guide!
Will read later, thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing. What exactly do they mean with "tongue elevator"?

I believe a tongue elevator is a piece of plastic or a dental appliance of some kind which you wear on your lower jaw. It elevates the tongue without you having to consciously do it.
in germany we have a guy who builds a tongue device, which helps the tongue to stay at the roof of your mouth.

I tried to cover everything, but I hope I didn't miss something.
