Do you take k2?
Did it helped in some ways?
Dosage?
Mk7 or mk4?
Yep. I've taken this: https://www.amazon.com/Superior-Source-Vitamin-K2-MK7-Count/dp/B005CD3XUY from the health food store. It reversed hair progressive hair loss for me. Started growing hair in widow's peaks. I had also been taking D3 previously and had started up D2, but it seems the K-2 was important. I hear the MK4 version is better... and I'm inclined to believe it. I think I'll switch. Taking the MK-7 is too strong for me. I only take about a quarter of a pill and still get some muscle cramping or heart tightening from it. If testing for vitamin D levels, it may be worth getting a split test of D2 and D3.

Here's a good thread:
By the way.. I had a D2 and D3 split test. Usually they clump them. My D2 was nil and so when I started on that a year ago last December.. my life really started to take off! :-) Like a rocket ship. Handle stress much better, etc. I don't know why my body is weird. I prefer to not take anything, honestly, and get good sun. I just think it wasn't enough for me. Generally, though, I'm not a fan of synthetic hormone replacement and that's basically what vitamin D supplementation is. It kind of gets you hooked. My MD says I need it, though, and that it's like insulin for someone diabetic. Just that I should deal with having to take it forever. I'm kind of okay with that, because I struggled a lot before that.
Seems it is easy enough to get K2 from food or food-based supplements, and personally I dont like to screw with high dose isolates, which to me are de facto drugs, unless there are no other options.

Yes - I'm in agreement. I buy Costco's grass fed butter (green and gold packaging) from Ireland. Also... just about any grass fed animal fats have it. That's how you get it and why our modern diets suck.
Grass-fed Ghee is really stable, too. When it comes to fats, I like the Nemechek protocol.. fish oil... olive oil (not heated up high). He's big on grass-fed, too. Healthy fats > brain > good brain. Bad fats > brain > inflammation. That's now how he says it, but it's how I understand it better.
I do megadose K2, but so far have seen no real change. Been about 2 months.
30 yo, need to expand palate, move maxilla upward and forward, reduce gonial angle.

I eat a lot of grass fed ghee. Has a lot going for it... K, A, E, D, CLA, butyric acid.
Anyway, below i report some excerpt
MK-4 enjoys the highest bioactivity among different compounds of menaquinones, and it has been the most extensively studied. MK-7, however, has higher bioavailability and a longer half-life than vitamin K1 and MK-4. Natto (fermented soy) is a good source of this vitamin produced by Bacillus subtilis [79] and builds a part of the diet in different cultures around the world. Thus, several studies have exclusively evaluated the effects of this vitamin on the activity of osteoblasts and osteoclasts in human and murine cell culture media.
MK-7 affects bone formation by enhancing the function of osteoblasts. This compound results in upregulation of SXR target gene, i.e., CYP3A4 in osteoblasts [28], and induces the synthesis of OPG and OC in osteoblasts. Both of these compounds are osteogenic markers [47, 80]. Further, MK-7 downregulates NF-κB activation in murine and human osteoblasts and osteoclasts. It was suggested that MK-7 exerts this effect independent of γ-carboxylation pathway [54]."
"There is burden of evidence supporting the osteoprotective effects of vitamin K2 in bone metabolisms. Vitamins K2, especially MK-4, promotes bone formation by stimulating the differentiation of the osteoblast, regulating the mineralization of the extracellular matrix, upregulating the expression of the bone marker genes, and inhibiting the osteoclastogenesis"
Correct me if i'm wrong, but the pharmacological doses are insane. 50mg/Kg this mean 3.5g/day for a 70kg adult. Impossible to reach that doses with nutrition or supplemnts.

So far this is the supplement with the higest dosage of vitamin k2-mk7 that i was able to find

I ordered MK - 4. Took it once (I took about a quarter of the 500 pill sublingually. I don't know if it was that... but I slept in day and woke up ang-gry. With 7 version I notices that I connected better with others and was able to read intentions well.
