I'm a side sleeper. This helps me with the sleep apnea problem. How this position affect my facial development?
I was wondering if feet have some kind of role in oral posture. Walking barefoot could help?
Side sleeping would prevent you from being able to keep your mouth closed with your tongue up, perhaps tucking your chin could offset some of that? I've always slept with most of face pressed right into the mattress, which obviously can't be good, and is probably partially responsible for my flat face.
Did you see Mike Mew's video about toes and oral/body posture? In case you didn't:

As with most tips and practices for getting the best oral posture and moving your maxilla, fixing your feet would probably be a spoke on the wheel of contributing factors that all come together for results, and not the end all be all on its own. Also, would you even be able to walk barefoot frequently, especially in public?
That's the point. At the moment I can walk barefoot just in my room.
Cassius, you are 100% on the right track with the idea of walking barefoot and sleeping on your back. Forgive me for not typing out a full reply right now, but keep pursuing this idea.
My work on articles is not complete yet, however you could direct this question at Dr. Mew who has posted videos regarding proper feet/toes on his channel.
