I think its been roughly 8 months in DNA now, with about 7mm expansion up the top and ~3mm down the bottom. Currently the top is locked until the bottom widens more, and still actively widening the bottom. Unsure if we'll expand the top more or not.
Left is before right is after.
My breathing seems to have improved - but I've not got any hard data to compare to. I'm seemingly less puffed when I exercise though, so happy with that.
My energy and consistency of energy has improved a lot too but this could of also been to the supplements I've been taking (vitamin d3, k2, magnesium, calcium).
For face changes, it seems my face is a bit wider. I've tried to take the photos exactly the same angles but its more challenging that it seems!
I'm happy with the improvement in the straightness of my teeth, excuse the yellowness I'd been drinking coffee.
Congrats on improving your health and getting a nice smile! 🙂 Regarding other changes in appearance, I find them hard to asses. You do look slightly different in the afters, but it is also as subtle that it makes me doubt if anything actually did change.
After going for 8 months with the DNA, how is the status of your teeth and gums? From what I gather, the DNA can cause damage to them.
Your palate is undoubtedly wider and your jaw looks stronger. Did you have the Y-plate upper DNA appliance? You don't seem to mention any forward expansion but your mandible looks noticeably more forward. I also got 7.5mm of lateral expansion with my DNA appliance.

Thanks!
My teeth and gums are fine, i haven't noticed any issues

Thanks! Yep i've got the Y shaped one, i did get some forward expansion too. I think around 3mm. I had extractions behind my canines when I was a teenager (if i could go back in time I'd try an expander before any braces or extractions!) but I don't have TMJ pain and didn't want to get artificial teeth put in, so I didn't go nuts with forward expansion so as not to create huge gaps. Already small gaps have formed behind my canines.
how old are you
